Last night on the way home from kayaking…. beautiful sunset over cranberry bog.
We woke up before 4:30 am, a record for me I think. We drove to Camp Hero State Park in the Hamptons. What a great gift from the Gods on my birthday and from Michael who got me out of the tent, what a beautiful sunrise. The most colorful I’ve ever seen. I couldn’t have asked for a better morning.

This lily stays up all night too…
This guy seemed to follow me around. Once it was close enough, it started to slowly let itself sink into the sand. After we cooked dinner at our campsite, I came back and you could only see the top of his head.
Water Gardens at Longwood.
I love these shots of fading mountains, they seem to go on and never end. When you hike all day in 90 degree weather, views like this make it all worth it.
